Dania Beach

The City of Dania Beach is an award-winning "Blue Wave Beaches” with an exceptional beach. One of the least crowded beaches, Dania Beach’s Ocean Park features a marina and the Dania Beach Pier. Bring your fishing pole and enjoy an afternoon on the pier or simply be a spectator as the fishermen reel in their catches. If you get hungry, pop into Quarterdeck Restaurant right on the pier for a casual bite and pleasant views of the ocean.

Don’t Miss the Wildlife

In order to see the wilderness just beyond Greater Fort Lauderdale, take an airboat ride and get up close and personal with giant gators with Everglades Holiday Park, and if you have nerves of steel, you can even do their "Animal Encounter”.

If looking to meet slightly more friendly critters, try Butterfly World and Flamingo Gardens.

Greater Fort Lauderdale has one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world and offers visitors opportunities to see wildlife not found anywhere else in the United States. If looking to find the real Florida, try Wild Lime Adventures and the Long Key Natural Area & Nature Center provide some of the best year-round birding in North America.

To see that wildlife up close and personal, consider a kayak, boat, or paddleboard rental or tour from outfitters such as Sunrise Paddleboards

Greater Fort Lauderdale is awash in waterways and rich in methods to explore them.

For beachside views, go down to Hollywood boardwalk and check out the Flowrider Double and enjoy a surfing simulator experience
