HELPFUL TIPS
Welcome Amigos!!!
You’re free to check in any time after 3:00 PM, but you’ll have to check out by 11:00 AM because that’s when the cleaning crew gets here.
I’m glad you booked with us, and we want to make sure you have the best stay possible.
Here’s everything you need to know to check in:
On the morning of your arrival, you will receive Sunshine Water House address and your own pin to enter. We like to greet everyone and show them around, but if you prefer to self check-in, please let us know.
Just in case...some GPS's may say that our address is in Fort Lauderdale, Don’t worry, it will get you to the correct address in Dania Beach.
Sunshine Water House is only 10 minutes away from Fort Lauderdale Airport and 30 minutes from Miami Airport. The house is on the right side of the street, and you won’t be able to miss it with it’s bright YELLOW door.
PARKING:
A maximum number of 4 cars are allowed, please make sure not to block the sidewalk so that you do not get towed.
Front Door:
The morning of your arrival we will send you a personal pin code to your phone giving you the code for the front door.

To Unlock Door: Type in the 4 digit code and then press check mark - you will hear the door say “Door Unlocked”

To Lock Door: Hold the check mark button for 3 seconds – you will hear the door say “Door Locked”
WIFI:
Morning of your arrival you will receive this information, it is also located on the colorful table to your left when you walk in.
THERMOSTAT:
The thermostat is mounted on the left side when you walk in near the fishes that hang. Feel free to adjust it how you see fit, but please don’t turn it below 65 degrees. And, if you’re planning on leaving the house for the day, please turn up the A/C.
LOCATIONS OF COMMON ITEMS:

The pots and pans are in bottom corner cupboard to the right of the stove (in the lazy susan).

Fire extinguisher is in the kitchen cabinet under the sink

Trashcan is located on the right of the sink. Trash bags are kept underneath the sink, you’ll also find other basic cleaning supplies like sponges, bleach, and dish soap there as well. I do a good job of staying on top of the supply, but if anything is running low and you want me to restock, just shoot me a text.

You can take the garbage bags out to the Trashcans that are on the side of the house next to the parking – Blue is for recyclables and the green tanks are for general garbage

There are hair dryers in both bathroom cabinets

There are extra towels in the hallway closet next to the bathroom
COFFEE AND TEA:

We’ve provided some complimentary coffee and tea. Drink as much or as little as you’d like. The coffeemaker is sitting on the counter, and the coffee pods and tea should be next to the machine.

It’s a Keurig, so all you have to do is take one of those pods and place it in the compartment that flips open. Make sure there’s water in the container. There are different cup sizes that you can choose from. You can also froth milk on the machine. Please make sure that the little wheel in the frother goes back inside the metal cup.
Pool Lights:
There is a switch inside the timer box right next to the pool equipment. It’s labeled so you should find it. If you have trouble please let us know. The remote control is also hanging from the wall (right next to the sliders that go outside). Please keep it in the waterproof bag and return to location when you're done.
Streaming TV Programming:
After a long day of sightseeing or relaxing in the pool, there’s nothing better than to sit down and relax with your favorite television shows. All of the TVs are Smart TVs (Netflix, Hulu, etc) but you can also cast from your phone (just make sure that you’re on the wifi network). TV Remote Controls are located on the white floating shelves next to the tv’s (each rooms remote is labeled so that there’s no confusion)
Appliances:

The dishwasher will open by itself when it’s done so don’t be alarmed.

The washer and dryer are in the garage. They’re pretty straightforward to use. I would recommend the “Quick Wash” setting, unless your clothing needs a really deep clean.

There’s a BBQ outside for your use, please make sure that you clean out the grills when you’re done (all grilling tools are inside the BBQ cabinet)

HOUSE RULES
Keep noise to a minimum after 11 pm.
·No smoking inside the home, you can smoke outside, there are ashtrays for your use. Extra $35 cleaning fees will be applied if we find cigarette butts. If there is odor inside the home, $200 may be applied to remove odor
·PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES after use. If dishes are not washed or placed in dishwasher, $35 extra cleaning fees may be applied.
·Feel free to use the barbecue outside that is set up for our guests’ leisure. Please clean up after yourselves and keep the grill clean. If found left dirty and requires extra cleaning, an extra cleaning fee of $35 may be required.
·Trash pickups are on Wednesday and Saturdays. Trash shall not be left or stored outside the house after 6:00 pm on the day prior to pick up, and the trash containers shall be removed from the curb no later then 6:00 pm on the day of pick up.
·Please do not rearrange our furniture.
·Please put back the games and pool sticks when you are done playing.
·If you would like to host an event (i.e. wedding, graduation, not party), please speak with us about it first.
– If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
- If permission is granted for an event and host incurs extra cleaning fee, guest will be responsible for the extra cleaning fee charges
·All items in the house are the property of the owner and will be inventoried upon check out, including glassware, plates, utensils, sheets, towels and other linens. Any items found missing or damaged will be charged to the guest.
·Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community not a hotel, and is also our home, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave. (Respect our property and our things)
·Pets are only allowed if we have discussed this beforehand
·Please turn up the AC when you’re away.
